Dr. Emoto's Message
Hello everyone,
I decided to establish a new company in order to regain the loss of my time over the last one year. Part of the reason for this company is to create EMOTO-branded products that already exist in Europe, and to utilize these for world peace and to establish water research from different angles.
(The Japanese version of) LLC is a company to bring together people with the same purpose, and to invest money and as owners to get together to achieve their goals. The content of the business includes creating peace, educational activities, business publishing, licensing, business consulting, welfare, working on the development of original water and everything that can help to create world peace.
More information on the new company will be available in the next issue.
Enactment of the day of thanking the sun
I visited the Heidate Shrine in Kumamoto, which is the land of my heart. The 137th priest, Mr. Haruki, offered me a solemn official prayer at eleven in the morning. To conclude the event I sang the national anthem twice sonorously with other worshippers under the national flag hanging on the shrine. I was very touched and felt cleansed and pure.
In the afternoon I gave a lecture at the Hinomiya World Peace Training Hall in the precincts. About 16 people attended this lecture all the way from the city of Kumamoto to the mountains and back, which takes about two hours. They were all from other cities or prefectures such as Amakusa, Miyakonojyo, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and Tottori.
In the lecture, which turned out to last three hours, I realized that I was talking about one inspiration that seemed like I got from the official prayer. Maybe I was influenced by the beauty of the vivid sun on the Japanese national flag at Heidate Shrine (also known as Hinomiya - temple of the sun) So I talked like this in my lecture:
"I think we originate from the sun because the vibration from the light of the sun is the energy source of all creation. It seems that the ancient Japanese put their palms together to pray to the sun when the sun rose. I think this became the origin of the creation of the Japanese soul. Japanese soul…that is exactly what the priest said when wrapping up the prayer today, that is, "harmonization of heaven and earth" and "harmonization of all creation".
When I travel around the world, I've never felt stronger this need of the Japanese soul than ever before. Also I've been thinking how I could tell everyone in the world. Now I learned how to do it.
That is, to establish a day to thank the Sun, who is the mother for all human beings.
The UN established the Day of Water on March 22nd. But we do not yet have a Day of the Sun. Let's establish the Day of the Sun and thank and pray to the Sun together.
Lately I often hear that global warming occurs because of the change in the activity of the Sun, not because of the increase of CO2. I won't talk about whether it is true or not here, but I'd like to remind you that, just like water, we take the sun for granted, as it should always be there, it's just the thing that rises from the east and sets in the west. We do not think deeply of its value. Of course I'm not talking about elders or people whose jobs benefit from nature.
Water exists to send the vibration sent from the sun to all creatures. And water's favorite words are Love and Gratitude. And it does not like being ignored. From this I believe that the sun, by giving off vibration also loves Love and Gratitude and does not like being ignored, just like water. Nowadays, people do not pay respect to the sun anymore. Maybe that's the major reason why this world is in chaos.
Anyhow, the sun can be seen from anywhere on earth and we can see it with our naked eyes. In other words, we can share the sun for sure and we can see it everyday. There's nothing like this in the world. It is our mother who sends us vibrational energy for all life. I believe that everyone would understand and agree with the idea that all her children on this earth apologize to her for their rudeness, thank her, and tell her we love her no matter what type of religion or culture we are.
I immediately asked the priest, Mr. Haruki about this idea. He was very happy with it and even suggested a day. He suggested Spring Equinox Day, which is March 20th this year. As you know, this day could sometimes fall on March 21st. So I chose March 21st because the next day, the 22nd, is the Day of Water set by the UN. By doing so, we could offer gratitude to our mother sun and then father water on the very next day, which would be the harmonization of heaven and earth.
The question would be what we should do on this day. I have not come up with any idea specifically yet. I'd like to start this on March 21st, 2009. For March 21st this year, I'd like to suggest that each one of us put our palms together facing the sun when we get up in the morning and apologize, thank, and offer our love to to her.
For example…
I'm sorry that I've ignored you, Sun.
Thank you, Sun, for your unconditional love.
I love you for good, Sun.

The first sunrise of the year 2008
Love and gratitude to all,
Masaru Emoto
